A tribute to a newer progressive house legend...

Born Joel Zimmerman on January 5, 1981, DeadMau5 rose to prominence when his foremost track 'Faxing Berlin' found its way onto the playlist of legendary DJ/Producer Pete Tong's radio show. Deadmau5 soon became an important figure in the world of progressive house music, with his tracks appearing on more than 15 compilation albums.


On May 1, 2008, Deadmau5 became the most awarded deejay/producer/remixer of the Beatport Music Awards. He was named "Most influential, forward-thinking and relevant person" by Beatport. He was also named "Producer of 2007" by DJ Mag's 2007 Top 100 winner Armin van Buuren, and by runner up Tiësto. Enjoy this track- one of his more popular beats.

    Didn't really like house mix that much. but is it me or do I always hear this on some songs lol.

    Deadmau5 more current stuff is not progressive at all. his older stuff is. I love it.

    I hate this guy. I really do. His music is bland, and all of his songs sort of merge into each other. Some of them stand out, but then again, when all of your music is the color brown, it's easy to stop the one or two songs that are orange.

    Ghost N stuff definitely the up front in your face track but I like Jaded a lot as well. nice progressive stuff from deadmau5
